McDonald's Management Development Program has now been accredited by Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Graduates of the McDonald's training program can apply existing credits towards their Higher Diploma studies at the Polytechnic University. McDonald's offers scholarships to help the participants to complete their studies. This makes working at McDonald's an even more attractive option, as individual full-time staff can now gain recognized qualifications based on their work experience.

Besides, our training program has also been accredited by two other famous international universities - Peking University and Qing Hua University.

Hamburger University is McDonald's worldwide management training center located in Oak Brook, Illinois. It focuses on providing training exclusively for all McDonald's Corporation and Franchisees employees in various aspects of the business.

Founded in 1961, Hamburger University is located in a 130,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility on the McDonald's Home Office Campus in Oak Brook with a faculty of 30 resident professors.

In order to cater to the international employees' scope of language differences, translators and electronic equipment enable professors to teach and communicate in 22 languages. McDonald's also manages seven Hamburger Universities located in the U.S.A., England, Japan, Germany, Australia, Brazil and Hong Kong.
