Responsibility

Job Profile:

As Restaurant Manager Trainee, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Learning the basics of restaurant operations through on-site training,  zone management and floor management
  • Gaining experience in attaining and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Developing an understanding of basic supervision, human relationship, interpersonal communication and follow-up skills
  • Establishing an Individual Development Plan to help focus on personal career development objectives

Job Profile:

As Shift Manager, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for delivering outstanding quality, services, cleanliness, people practices, sales and profit during their shifts duty. Shift Managers are also responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and assisting their assigned departments to meet their goals
  • Monitor food safety procedures during the shift
  • Communicate with previous and subsequent Shift Manager and identify sales trends and opportunities
  • Monitor and communicate progress toward targets throughout the shift and energize the team to meet them
  • Maintain stock levels, checking order accuracy, quality, and condition
  • Identify and respond to equipment failure or unexpected incidents
  • Monitor and coach to correct production and service procedures
  • Seek customer feedback during travel paths
  • Execute restaurant safety and security processes
  • Review crew schedule for proper staffing to meet the needs

Requirements:

  • 2 years or above experience in catering / hotel / retail industry supervision

Department Managers

There are 3 different department manager positions, including Food Quality Manager, Customer Experience manager and People Development Manager.

Job Profile:

As Food Quality Manager, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the Production Systems within the restaurant, inventory management, maintaining the accuracy of the ordering system to delivery high quality products to our customers
  • Ensure proper maintenance of dining environment, internal and external structure and equipment
  • Monitor hygiene and sanitation standards for the restaurant
  • Monitor and report progress on department goals and objectives
  • Refer any issues observed and actions taken with the food safety checklists to the Restaurant General Manager
  • Coordinate with training manager to make sure all staff are trained and verified in food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Comply with McDonald’s policies and procedures and the government food safety standards
  • Follow up on operational procedures related to food safety complaints
  • Follow up on pest prevention program
  • Maintain the accuracy of the ordering system, communicate and verify use of stock area organization plan
  • Analyze food cost components, develop and communicate weekly food cost action plans to managers and crew
  • Complete weekly and monthly food inventory

Job Profile:

As Customer Experience Manager, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the management and maintenance of service initiatives, brand extensions and Guest Experience team’s responsibilities to contribute to restaurant success
  • Coordinate guest experience activities, coordinate point-of-purchase and merchandising execution so at proper elements are in place
  • Communicate upcoming restaurant social and community events
  • Develop, maintain and implement a plan to optimize the layout of the various service areas in the restaurant
  • Ensure proper training and execution of all Front Counter and brand extensions procedures
  • Analyze, communicate customer opinions, review and response for customer feedback
  • Track and report on cash and register controls across all days and dayparts

Requirements:

Job Profile:

As People Development Manager, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the schedule management, recruitment and training to drive success at the restaurant
  • Schedule, plan and conduct crew meetings, events and training team meetings
  • Maintain a crew staffing level appropriate for the restaurant’s sales level
  • Ensure crew orientations and follow-up orientations are conducted
  • Maintain and issue uniforms; ensure adequate uniform supply and manage linen budget within target
  • Assign new staff on the appropriate working station
  • Conduct performance reviews for assigned Crew and Specialist in department
  • Determine restaurant labor needs and budget
  • Weekly review labor controls and review with Restaurant General Manager
  • Complete weekly crew schedules
  • Conduct initial applicant screening and initial interviews
  • Determine restaurant training needs
  • Complete a monthly crew training needs analysis, select and train potential crew
  • Develop training plans and track progress for existing and new employees
  • Maintain all training materials for the restaurant

Job Profile:

  • As a Restaurant General Manager, you are entirely responsible for the restaurant, to create a restaurant business plan to deliver the restaurant’s sales, people and profit objectives, aligned with market business objectives.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Lead, develop and train employees in restaurants
  • Measure customer satisfaction and executing plans to increase brand loyalty
  • Implement and conduct new products with proper procedures
  • Project and manage profit and loss line items
  • Administrate records and procedures including employee benefits, recruitment, payroll, inventories, security and personnel files
  • Ensure the execution of all security, food safety and employee safety measures, and restaurant maintenance
  • Ensure that a respectful workplace exists in the restaurant

Job Profile:

As Guest Experience Floor Manager, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • At least 3 years’solid experience in the catering / hotel / retail industry of which 1 year or above with supervisory experience
  • Provide training and tracking training progress of the Guest Experience Team
  • Deliver a personalized dining experience to each customer
  • Establish communicate with the community and conduct regular visit to organization within trading area
  • Organize special events for product or special promotions
  • Engage with guests in a confident way at the engagement kiosk
  • Engage with guests in both dining and serve them according to their needs

Job Profile:

As McCafé Floor Manager, you are entirely responsible for the McCafé, including but not limited to:

  • Demonstrate and reinforcing leadership behaviors and basic people standards necessary to gain commitment from McCafé team members
  • Share knowledge and experience to train Baristas, and arrange their individual’s development
  • Wok out and execute action plan to build McCafé performance
  • Implement new products with proper procedures
  • Manage shifts without supervision
  • Complete McCafé regular maintenance for the tools and equipment
  • Execute all food safety and workplace safety measures meet McDonald’s restaurants standard practices and procedures
  • Control McCafé profit and loss line items, managing food cost and wastage
  • Manage McCafé inventory of raw product

Requirements:

  • Passionate in coffee culture and aspire to the development of coffee industry
  • Form 5 (passed five subjects in the HKCEE must including English, Chinese and Mathematics) or Hong Kong Diploma (DSE) or above
  • A degree in hotel management / catering industry or above is preferred
  • 1 year or above coffee industry supervision experience
  • Proactive, responsible and be a team player
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese
  • Prior knowledge of Mandarin and English is a plus
  • Able to adapt shift work

Hourly Paid Position

Job Profile:

As Food Quality Crew / Specialist, responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Producing quality food for our customers according to specifications
  • Participate in daily operations of the restaurant, such as preparing raw materials and maintain the cleanliness in the restaurant
  • Ensure that production systems operate smoothly and perform all food safety steps

Requirements:

  • Enthusiastic with and interesting in the development of catering industry

  • Hold a Secondary 3 or higher education
  • Enthusiastic with coffee culture and aspire to the development of coffee industry
  • One year working experience in the coffee industry
  • Proactive, responsible, and be a team player
  • Confidence and good communication skills
  • Passion for customer service, patience and willingness to interact with customers
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English are preferred

  • Follow production procedures and product standards

  • Hold a Secondary 3 or higher education
  • At least one year working experience in the catering industry
  • Enthusiastic with and interested in the development of the catering industry
